SKYWATCHER STAR DISCOVERY 90I WIFI COMPUTERISED TELESCOPE

The Sky-Watcher Star Discovery 90i WiFi goto refractor telescope can be easily controlled wirelessly with your Smartphone or Tablet, using the free SynScan App for iOS or Android. The Synscan Wi-Fi module creates it’s own Wi-Fi network, so the mount can be used anywhere, no internet connection is required. After entering your coordinates into the App and following a simple alignment procedure, you are ready to explore the universe using the App’s intuitive touchscreen menu. The well engineered Star Dicovery mount is supplied with a stainless steel tripod and accessory tray.

Optical performance
An f10 focal ratio achromat refractor with a 90mm clear aperture is capable of serious planetary views including Saturn's ring system, the polar ice caps on Mars as wel as Jupiter's cloud belt structure. Lunar views are breathtaking revealing hundreds of craters in stunning detail. With 90mm of unobstructed aperture there are numerous galaxies and nebula within reach of this instrument.

The Star Discovery 90i and SynScan App provides full computerised goto control, allowing the telescope to be automatically slewed to any one of the objects in the App’s extensive database of 10,000+ celestial objects. The mount incorporates Sky-Watcher’s Freedom-Find patented Dual-Encoder Technology, which allows the telescope to be moved manually in either axis without the mount losing its positional information so no need to re-align. This gives the user enormous freedom, convenience and flexibility during observational sessions.
