This new versatile iOptron® MiniPier is designed for iOptron GOTO mounts and tripods. The design allows a tripod to access different mount head. It also provide 7" extension for a long telescope. It may fit on other brand tripods with some DIY.

The following mounts can be mounted onto the MiniPier:
  • HAZ31/46 (3/8”-16 locking knob)
  • CEM26/HEM27/GEM28/HAE29 (2X M6 screws, 83mm separation, 1X center post)
  • CEM40/HAE43/HEM44/GEM45 (2X M6 screws, 103mm separation, 1X center post)
  • HEM15/HAE16/HAE18 ultra compact strain wave gear mount (3/8”-16 locking knob)
  • SkyTracker Pro/SkyGuider Pro (3/8”-16 locking knob)
  • SkyHunter (3/8”-16 locking knob)
  • Camera and other equipment with a 3/8”-16 mounting hole
The MiniPier fits these iOptron tripod/pier:
  • Carbon fiber tripod (8061/8061A)
  • CEM26/GEM28 tripod (2X M6 screws, 83mm separation)
  • CEM40/GEM45/iEQ30 tripod (2X M6 screws, 103mm separation)
  • CEM70/CEM60/iEQ45 tripod (2X M8 screws, 120mm separation)
  • CEM25/ZEQ25 tripod (3/8-16 thread adapter)
  • 3211 SmartEQ/SGP/STP/SkyHunter tripod (3/8-16 thread adapter)
  • Tri-pier (M6 and M8screws)
  • Other tripod with 3/8”-16 mounting screw or threaded mounting holes matching the plate mounting holes
DOES NOT fit onto the following pier:
  • Tri-pier 360/360A
  • Permanent pier

Be caution for the unbalanced heavy payload use when using leveling function.
