RASA Motorfocuser Set

Motorfocuser by OPTEC as complete set including the FocusLynx Controller hub, fit for Celestron RASA telescopes

This set is used for remote control of the main mirror focuser system of the CELESTRON RASA. The temperature sensor is mounted ready-to-use inside of the motor housing and lets you compensate the temperature-shift of the focus position. Communication with the control computer is done via Ethernet, RS232 or USB and ASCOM via Software. You can even use an optional WiFi-antenna. Then you can control it even with an app on your smartphone or tablet.

The RASA motor unit can also be used on all Celestron SC telescopes, if they have been retrofitted with a 1:10 focus reduction by Feathertouch.

Scope of delivery:

• FT20 Motor Unit: For the Feather Touch Focusers for C8, C9.25, C11 and C14 as well as the Celestron RASA Astrograph. The FocusLynx FT's temperature sensor is integrated into the motor housing. For more detailed information about the FT20 motor unit.
• Optec Controller Hub (necessary for operating the motor focuser LINK zum Produkt) contains: 12V power supply, USB/RS232 Converter with cable (ca. 2m.) software CD-ROM. With the scope of delivery, the focuser can only be controlled with a PC/laptop/desktop computer with installed ASCOM-platform. For more detailed information about the Optec Controller Hub.

To control the motor manually with a hand control box, you need the optional hand control # 1317510.

To control the focuser with tablet/smartphone, you can install the optional WiFi antenna. You can find apps for smartphone/tablet on the Optec Website for Apple and Android.
