FeatherTouch Micro Focuser for Celestron HD9.25" / CPC925 / C9.25

The Starlight Instruments SCT/HD Micro Focuser provides the smoothest control for fine focusing. Two focus knobs allow for standard or 1/10th-speed focusing, making the MicroFocuser extremely accurate. Excellent for both imaging or visual observing, this focuser is precision-machined and anodized black with a brass fine-focus knob.

The FeatherTouch Micro Focuser can even be motorized, if required. We distribute the products of OPTEC for this purpose. The FT20 motor unit (# 1317515) by OPTEC is suitable for all FTM 1/10 reduction ratios.

If your telescope is less than a few years old, check the style of the back cell to see which version of the FeatherTouch^® SCT Micro Focuser you need:

If your telescope has a flat back (left picture), you need the standard "C" Micro Focuser: Starlight Instruments FeatherTouch Focuser for Celestron C9.25.

If your telescope has a triangular pattern on the back (right picture), you will need the "CPC" version of the Micro Focuser.

The SCT Micro Focuser for the NEW, rounded backplate or OLD, flat backplate is easily installed in place of the original focus knob on

• FeatherTouch Micro Focuser for Celestron C9.25 (Old, flat backplate):
  
  This model is not compatible with other Celestron 925" EdgeHDs and CPC-925 telescope.

• FeatherTouch Micro Focuser for Celestron HD8" / CPC800 / NexStar 6 - 8 / C8 (NEW, rounded backplate):

  This model is not compatible with other 925" SCTs.

A built-in stop prevents the primary mirror from detaching from the focuser (as from 2000 models).
