PETG Focuser Bracket, 4x stainless steel M4 Allan Cap head bolts, and 4x nuts.

Assembly Instructions:
Please see the included images. Assembly is very easy and takes a minute.

1) First remove the coarse focus knob by loosening the grub screws around the shaft and pulling it free.
2) Insert two M4 nuts into the corresponding pockets on the bracket and attach the bracket to the focuser drawtube body. Do not tighten it too much, it must be loose allowing rotation for alignment.
3) You would have received a 5mm to 5mm flexible coupler with your Altair Astro USB Focus Motor. Push this over the focuser shaft. Do not tighten the grub screws yet. Let it rotate freely.
4) Now use the 4x shorter M4 Allen Cap head screws included with your Altair focuser to attach it to the to the focuser bracket. Leave them a little loose for now. You can tighten everything up later.
5) The focus motor mounting plate is then attached to the focuser bracket by means of two M4 Allen cap head screws which thread into the trapped nuts. All holes are slotted to allow for small adjustments.
6) Once the USB motor focuser body and the bracket is assembled loosely on the focuser, you can line up the motor shaft with the GSO focuser shaft. It mostly self-aligns, then you can tighten all the screws, and finally tighten the grub screws on the flexible coupler. There is no need to overtighten anything. You can slide the flexible coupler up and down to position it so you have access to the grub screws. That's it! Use the hand controller for coarse focus positioning and your favourite astronomy capture software for fine auto focusing.
