Altair Skyshed Pier Extension 300mm Height

A 300mm pier height extension which can be bolted to the Altair SkyShed 8" Pier using 4x M12 Bolts and Nuts (hardware included).

Made from laser cut and welded powder coated steel with 6mm thickness.

Commercial marine rust protection: The steel is grit blasted and then flame-sprayed with molten zinc before powder coating. This is a similar process to galvanising but gives a better finish. The zinc bonds with the steel. Even if the powder coating is chipped, the pier will not rust unless the impact removes the zinc which is highly unlikely in any normal use case. Other piers are powder coated only without zinc coating underneath (or worse, painted) and if they are chipped, they rust. We have been making our piers for over 18 years, and not one customer has complained of rust in all that time. This is the only pier in the world with this level of rust protection, to our knowledge.
