Additional filter drawers for the Celestron Origin Home Observatory allow you to easily switch between filters. With additional filter holders, you can easily switch between various filters during your imaging sessions.

Please note: We supply the magnets loose with this product, because the polarity of the Celestron Origin filter slots varies from telescope to telescope. The magnets we supply are high quality neodymium magnets, and it is essential to ensure that they are installed the right way around so that they are attracted to the magnets on the Origin filter slot.

Therefore you need to check the polarity on your scope and mark the orientation of the magnets with a marker pen before gluing them into the filter slider. The filter slider has correctly sized spaces for the magnets to fit into. All you need to do is put a drop of superglue into the recess when you have the orientation correct and push the magnet into the recess. We recommend using Loctite Super Glue Gel Transparent Clear.

The item is made from  PETG using a 3D printing process and is generally considered stable up to 70-80°C (158-176°F). It is tougher, more durable and more impact resistant than commonly used 3D printing materials.
