Altair ColourPRO 2" LRGB CMOS Filter Set R1

The Altair Astro ColourPRO LRGB Filter Set is designed for imaging with Mono CCD or CMOS cameras. 
 
Aside from our usual high quality glass and top quality coatings, these filters have some additional enhancements not found in other filters of this type, which make them ideal for your astro imaging application.

• Individual spectrographic test report provided with each filter.
• Transmission is very high peaking at approx. 96.5-98.5%
• Advanced UV/IR blocking gives small star sizes even with refractor optics.
• The AR (Anti Reflection) coatings suppress halo effects for more pleasing star images.
• A special highly durable black resin coating around the periphery of the filter reduces the chance of internal reflections.
• Filters are parfocal at 1.85mm thickness.

Red Green and Blue wavelengths are carefully matched to give a good colour balance, and a tight fit within the Luminance filter transmission range, as can be seen from the spectrum graph. This results in pure colours with maximum efficiency.
