A fast focal ratio 70mm ED Quad APO Astrograph for wide field imaging with with full frame DLSR or CMOS cameras.

The quad design removes the requirement for a separate reducer or field flattener. While this fixes the focal length at 350mm making this a one focal length scope, it also allows for more compactness and portability. The focuser terminates in M63, M54 and M48 threads offering plenty of space for the inclusion of filter wheels, and other accessories. Please check the diagram for more information.

The focuser also includes a 4-axis tilt adjuster which allows you to correct the tilt of your astro camera relative to the telescope to ensure the sensor is square-on to the optical axis. The 4-axis adjustment with locking screws is much easier to use than 3-axis systems because you can align each axis with the camera sensor running parallel to each side. This makes "live" adjustment easier with tools built into your astro imaging software which offer "real-time" adjustment.

The focal ratio is a fast F5 (350mm focal length), allowing for flatter images and excellent contrast performance with filters.
