The Acuter MaksyGo 60 DIY is a complete fully functional educational telescope set supplied in kit form for self-assembly. When built, it is a complete fully functional telescope set with the added benefit of a removable discovery panel which reveals the fascinating internal construction of an advanced Maksutov-Cassegrain optical system to give an understanding of how it works. This compact and portable telescope is great for observing, learning & discovery. Supplied with a Dobsonian-type Alt-Azimuth mount, which combines excellent stability and ease of operation.

The accessories that come with the MaksyGo 60 DIY are a detachable Maksutov OTA (D=60mm F=750mm), a detachable 20mm (37.5x) eyepiece, a 90 degrees detachable non-erecting  diagonal and a easy-view image screen.

The Maksutov telescope is named after Dmitri Maksutov (1896-1964), a Soviet/Russian optician and astronomer who invented this telescope design in 1941. The Acuter MaksyGo 60 is the perfect way to follow in his footsteps in your discovery of the Universe!
